Hello, I'm Paul Grayson, and this is my personal page on the web.
Short summary
When I was twelve years old, I loved animals. I had taken care of mice, hamsters, fish, parakeets, a chinchilla, and once even trained a baby robin to fly. At the same time, I was quite handy with computers, so I decided I would combine the two and become a robot scientist. Later on, I realized that there was another way to combine computation and biology, and I ended up spending five years as a Ph.D. student at Caltech, working on a research project involving viruses in the Rob Phillips Group. Since finishing up at Caltech, I have decided to get back to my robotics obsession by joining Pololu, an educational robotics company.
Other interests include running, hiking, and juggling, baking sourdough bread and brewing wine. I love to travel and attempt to speak Mandarin, German, and Russian when I get a chance. Thanks for stopping by!
